The rooms were okay, but did have that "this used to be a smoking room" kind of smell. However, the check out time should be 11 a.m. like every other hotel that exists, at least in America. This fact was rudely communicated to me by the owner, who pounded on my door at 9:45 saying, "CHECK OUT, CHECK OUT!!!" I still had 15 minutes! Next time I need to take the ferry, I will seek and obtain alternate arrangements.

Maybe luck? When we checked in didn't read the other reviews but the room I was in had no bed bugs ( I'm allergic to them and swell when.they bight) but the beds were rock hard. Only had to pay $160. At first me and a family member only got a one bed by accident ($150) but then let us change to a two bed for a addition $10 room was clean, it had a old roll fo toilet paper, and a really small bar of soap. the one bedroom had a tv the other one didn't. but when we left there was a guy saying that the entire room was dirty. so either lucky or not.

We booked this motel based off of the price and the pictures. RED FLAG. Don’t ever go here even if it’s a last resort. There is no maid service. After four nights; no garbage was taken out, no clean towels left in the room BUT they had the time to go in the room right after we left for 10 minutes to shut off the AC and lock the back bedroom door. Don’t trust the pictures you see because up close the rooms are all run down and falling apart. Our room looked like they patched up bullet holes in the door. Cops were in and out and come to find out they were searching one of the rooms for a “suspect.” To top it off on our last night staying there, a guest checked in and immediately checked out a few hours later because him and his wife found a bowl of moldy food in the microwave after the hotel owner told them the smell was just the AC kicking on. And then turns around to tell them that they brought that bowl of moldy food there just to get a refund. Spend a little more money and go to a better hotel or pitch a tent and camp right up the road at the campground. First and last time we will ever go there!
