I would be embarrassed to call this one of your motels. I have stayed at a lot of Motel 6 motels, and I can say this is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at by far. The overall rating for this motel is 0. I would not recommend this motel to my worst enemy. The pool was disgusting and not usable, the staff was not friendly, the room was not cleaned, or made up on a multiple day stay, and we had to beg for fresh towels. This is the first motel that I could sit on the toilet, wash my hands, and put my feet in the shower at the same. The bathroom was literally smaller than my hall closet at home. You asked for candid and this is the nicest I can put. You should remove your name from this motel.

This was the worst experience I've ever had, anywhere. We go to check in and get charged twice * i had already when i booked the room online* When I asked why I was being charged twice I was told " get out" " nomore room for you" the rude, nasty owner told me he sees no money in his account and not his problem you call them * meaning the website we booked through * just extremely rude, unprofessional, and not one person working there speaks a word of English. We left and went across the street to the red roof inn where we actually had a very pleasant experience.

Motel 6 Rio Grande. This was the last night of 14 day on the road. This was a terrible experience. Both my wife and I are ill. And while I could never prove it, we suspect this place. The clerk show me the room, but I just stuck my head in the room. I wished I had turned on the light and pulled open the curtains. DIRTY filthy smelly. I was afraid to sleep in the bed. All the furniture was broken. I wouldn’t use the towel. The outside was dirty with peeling paint and trash. The pool looked like a cesspool. I am embarrassed I let my wife stay there. I shied away from cheaper rooms in the area. I will never book a Motel 6 again.

I'd rather sleep in a jail cell...it's cleaner Booked this spot because i needed a cheap, pet friendly hotel. My dog didn't end up coming onthe trip, but when i checked in the front desk literally yelled at me 'No pets, No pets...No pets" i was like - ok, i don't have one and again scremed, no pets...hmmm so much for being pet friendly. that is nothing compared to what i am about to share. i get into the room and it smells like smoke and an old musky place...whatever, it's cheap and i was going to go to bed soon. i went to lock the door and the dead bolt was jamming and not inserting into the door frame. this was mentioned to the front desk and their response was "no one is going to enter your room.' really?? i decided that i would put a chair in front of the door. upon removing the top blanket on the bed, i notice a stain on the sheets. it was dark, brown and oily. it was coming from on top of the blanket. nasty! then i am looking around some more... Mold on the hanging (under the glass) Dirty marks all over the walls and doors eww After calling and complaining to the booking site, by they way they did nothing, i decided that i was not going to stay in a dirty, unsafe and rude environment. i never was refunded, the hotel staff was rude and told me they would change the sheets....why were they dirty to begin with? Why is there mold in the room? Why did the dead bolt not lock!!! Don't stay here.
