La-Z-Boy Home Furnishings & Décor

Unlike other furniture stores on Route 22, we weren't "jumped on" the moment we walked in the door. Our sales person (Alan Granetz) was extremely knowlegeable and helpful. He introduced himself, asked how he could assist us (asked what were we looking for), and then guided us to where the said items were located. He then gave us time to browse with out breathing down our necks. When he saw we appeared interested in a couple of pieces he aporoached us and explained available options (manual, motorized, upholstry...etc) and asked if we had any questions. He then checked availability. He was extremely attentive without be overbearing. The other sales reps on the floor appeared to have a similar sales approach. I usually hate furniture shopping because most sales people are pushy and overbearing. That was not the case at La-z-y North Plainfield. I highly reccomend them.

I had never visited a Lazy-boy store before but on my first visit I was greeted by Sharon a sales representative. Sharon introduced herself and wanted to know how she could help. All I wanted was a battery for a chair that was purchased for grandmother years ago. However , to my surprise Lazy- boy was more than I could have ever imagined. Sharon showed me around the store resulting in small purchase of some clearance items. I have a retail background of over 30 years and customer is very important. Sharon delivered on customer service excellence. Thanking you for customer service experience!
