Lived here a couple years ago and I have to reiterate what the other reviewer said about their deposit. MAKE SURE you take photos of EVERYTHING in the apartment before you move in and document any damage. They tried to get me for damage to the fridge that was already there and only after I complained did they remove the charge because I'm such a "decent person".

RUDE! LOW QUALITY! WILL SCAM OUT OF DEPOSIT! Extremely rude landlord with lack of patience to hear out tenant issues. Building has vague rules about move out, clean out, subletting, etc, so landlord can twist the words later and scam you out of your deposit. Security deposit is EXTREMELY highalmost a months rent which you can find many better apartments around NB where this is not the case and deposits are only $300 like SoCam in downtown area. Not only that but I got silly excuses and over exaggerated cleaning costs for very basic cleaning during move out and ended up being scammed out MOST of the deposit (so payed almost an extra months rent). You can get much better apartments for much cheaper rent + security deposits that theyll return most of even if the apartment is a bit messy but reasonably clean and undamaged so go for those instead plz and save yourself the headache

I don't know how it is now, but when I lived here, 130 Easton was one of the best places to live off-campus at Rutgers. Clean place, good residents (in general), great location, and good permit parking in the basement floor as well. The property managers were pretty solid, and when I had an issue, they were glad to help. For anyone moving out: I'd suggest just replacing any worn down/messed up components of your stove, oven, etc on your way out, instead of letting it come out of your deposit. Find the specs of the stove or oven and spend a few bucks buying replacement parts if you goofed up any of them. It cost me about $10 for each stove cover on Amazon that I had to replace due to ridiculous wear and tear on our part, as opposed to whatever they probably would have charged; the fact that I even TRIED was enough for me to get the deposit back. :)
