Response to the realtor's reply to the Bennett's review on 12/13/2023. We have reached out numerous times before and after closing to obtain the contractor's info so that we could reach out on the poor workmanship. Our attorney also requested...no repsonse or info given. We also requested warranties and paperwork, again, no response. We were instructed by you to NOT do our home inspection until 2 weeks before closing as the property was being worked on. This left us no time to hire an engineer to look at the concerns with the crawl space that you were aware of. Not to mention that we were going to lose our $10,000 deposit if we did not close. Also, we went over $10,000 asking price, house closed a month past closing date, leaving us paying over $4,000 in hotel costs and $2,500 in storage and $3,000,to board our pets. The township came to the the home after closing and was flabbergasted on how the house passed city inspection and informed us that the inspector must have peeked under the crawl space as there was zero insulation and informed us that the city inspector was no longer employed. Told by everyone that we were screwed and to seek counsel to sue, but that would cost us more money. Floor is unlevel causing drafts and windows have cracked and been replaced 3 times in 2 years because of the unevenness. We had a home inspection but had no choice but to close because we were were living in a hotel, would have lost our deposit and rejected for a seller credit AND any repairs. What choice do you have if you have a blind child, 2 dogs and no place to live and would have lost $10,000 in EMD? And thanks for not letting us know that we could have gotten a 5 year tax abatement. As a realtor, I'm pretty sure you should have known that.

One word...crooked, praised him on being honest at time of sale which he was a "double agent" but in the past 2 years after house purchase realizing I wish we had someone on our side because the house was literally rigged for sale on every aspect...windows, foundation, flooring, etc. And I know he knew because was selling house for a "friend" Sucks that good hard working people can get burned like this There is NO floor under the carpet upstairs, I mean comon'
