I want to see the apartments

Starting from square one feels like navigating a maze of disappointment. Since moving into this apartment in December of 2023, it's been a cascade of letdowns. The initial impression was tarnished by shoddy repairs and lackluster preparation: hastily patched holes in the walls and ceiling, a closet missing its carpet, grimy floors, and a kitchen drawer AWOL. Even after five months, the missing drawer remains a testament to their neglect. They promised to fix it all, yet the broken window locks were "remedied" by permanently sealing them shut, a move that epitomizes unprofessionalism. Reaching out to maintenance or the leasing office feels like shouting into a void each call met with the same hollow reassurance that someone will "get back to you," only to be met with silence. This level of incompetence surpasses any building management I've ever encountered.

Overall, this isn't an awful place to live. The apartments are a little outdated, but it is quiet and most neighbors are nice. The maintenance however is awful. I have lived here over a year and have had many instances where I have to call the front desk upwards of 10 times just to get an issue resolved. I went over a month without a working stove or oven because my first several calls were completely ignored and then they installed the stove in my neighbor's apartment by mistake. I had a massive leak in my closet that wasn't addressed for weeks and had terrible mold and literal mushrooms growing by the time they finally got around to taking care of it. We are now also entering the month of November, the temp has reached down to 30s-40s and the entire complex still has no heat. The leasing office isn't offering any timeline as to when we will be able to have heat again, and their solution is "buy a space heater".

Ive been looking at the same construction site right outside of my apartment balcony for 4 months. Its extremely loud and not peaceful at all. Home is supposed to be where you can go to relax after a long day of work. Its for the oil tank to control our heating. So theres currently no option to have heat in the apartment while weve entered the month of October and some mornings/nights get chilly. Ive called the leasing office and they say they dont know when the project will be finished. Each building has 2 washers and 2 dryers shared between your neighbors. On multiple occasions, theres been at least one (sometimes both) not working. For weeks. The parking is very limited and even more limited in the past months with the construction taking away probably close to about 10 spots. The storage room is sketchy and a mess. I had to get help moving a desk that was placed directly in front of my locker and blocked access of getting to my belongings.
