The room even if it looked pretty new it wasn't clean and the smell of smoke/cigarette at the arrival was unbearable, the sofa especially smelled like a giant ashtray. The temperature of the water in the bathroom does not go beyond lukewarm and air conditioning didn't work. Having said that, the guys at the reception are very nice and welcoming. The location is ok because of its close distance to the Path station of Journal Square, but in the surroundings there's pretty much nothing to do. Honestly I wouldn't come back. Safety: The area looks a bit dodgy but in reality is quite safe

Beware if you get a first floor suite some people in front lobby never shut up, very noise area on the first floor, good luck sleeping. Rooms are nice though!

Convenient location especially if you dont want to drive into the city but enjoy driving yourself there! Subway and parking nearby. As well as Starbucks. We didnt really spend much time nearby. The hotel itself is small. The rooms were up to date, clean. Our only issue is noise from the lobby area/1st floor. Also went to check out , then there was no one to be found. I would return but ask for a room on another floor . Would suggest soda/snack areas , coffee for your guests (for purchase)
