Eastern Dental of Flemington: Feiler Aaron T DDS

I went to Eastern Dental for the first time today. As a person who hates going to the dentist I have to tell you this was a great experience. The whole staff was professional and friendly, and the Dr was Awesome! I highly recommend going here. I definitely will keep up on my check ups now that I found them.

During my initial visits, I greatly appreciated Dr. Oliver Wenson for his kindness and gentleness. However, my opinion took a turn for the worse when it came to the extraction of my wisdom teeth. Unfortunately, during the procedure, Dr. Wenson accidentally broke the crown off and falsely assured me that he had successfully removed the entire root. This misinformation resulted in excruciating pain for over a week (they are closed on weekends), as he had advised me to wait for five days for improvement. If a dentist can confidently claim to have extracted the entire root while the patient can visibly see otherwise, it raises concerns about their competence in this profession.

I go here for Dr. Wenson. He's an awesome dentist, very skilled, knowledgeable, kind, and cares about his patients. Its not the most state of the art facility but Dr. Wenson's skills more than make up for that. Everything I've had done has been 100% pain free. Not mostly pain free, 100% pain free every visit. The office staff are fine. It seems like a lot of people have issues with dental office staff? I'm there for the dentist not the person booking my appointment. 5 stars for Dr. Wenson and his excellent assistant.

Told my daughter had 3 cavities when we went for a cleaning. She has never had any cavities and when asked to see them on the X-ray she was told 2 were too small to see. Scheduled fillings, arrived, Dentist was having a conversation with receptionist about what to get on their pizza. She tried to intake us but he continued to discuss the pizza with her. My daughter then had someone other than the dentist she first saw do the fillings and that person just drilled indiscriminately into her teeth leaving them injured. They remain 3 months later, still damaged. We saw our old dentist and he was shocked they put fillings in these tiny drilled holes in what seemed to be perfectly healthy teeth. I will never forgive myself for choosing convenience and letting these people do anything other than a cleaning.
