One star is not low enough for this company. Sent plumber to install water heater from Home Depot. Heater was damaged. He stated 1800heaters would charge $150 cancel fee but if install completed in 30 days, 150 is deducted from total. Plumber comes back within a week but states they will not honor what they said. They said it was a new employee who made the note and he was incorrect. So Im out $150 because of their failure to completely train new employees? Any reputable company that makes a mistake, a mistake they even agreed they made, would honor their mistake. This one did not! Do not trust, they will lie to you.

Fantastic job! I called this morning to replace my leaking hot water heater. They got me a replacement and installed it a few hours later. The whole procress was really fast! Marc G was professional, friendly and informative. He covered everything including the stairs with drop cloths. He cleaned everything up when he left. The whole experience was really great. I highly recommend 1800HEATERS

Got this service through Home Depot. Ordered Water Heater and replacement. Scheduled service, and they never showed up. Called several times, without being helped. Finally I been told that plumber is running late, but they dont know how late. After a lot of frustration, and giving them a few chances to make it right I had to cancel the order.

Contracted them through Home Depot and my hot water heater was replaced next-day; job took less than four hours.
That's about as good a thing as I can say about my experience.
The techs left screws all over the place and damaged my door frame in a very noticeable way but left without saying a word.
Central took care of that for me; but we're not done yet folks.
Somewhere in the chain of handling my credit card information it was compromised.
Shortly after, someone used it to order food from a restaurant by me.

The plumbers who showed up were diligent and knowledgeable, but we got scammed by 1800 Heaters insisting on our buying a $20 drip pan for $101 (the claim was that this is code, but that is incorrect), as well as a permit fee of $101, when there is no permit fee to install a water heater in Danbury.
BEWARE OF THIS COMPANYS SCAMS!!!
