        Mr. Bilinkas' legal judgement as defense lawyer saved his client, Michael Barisome, from suffering a guilty verdict of lesser offense. Had he agreed to include lesser offense during jury charging conference, it would have given jury an easy way out and deliver a guilty verdict of lesser offense. Luckily, he did not accept prosecutor's pushing for the inclusion. In the end, Michael Barisome was found not guilty of all charges. His compassion, passion, and relentlessness during cross examination and argument set the bar really high for the rest of criminal defense lawyers. I watched the trial like watching my favorite artist's talent show.
