STAY AWAY. This is the worst company I have ever worked with. They will quote you one thing then hold all your things hostage while they wait for you to pay them 3x the original quote. Unprofessional, aggressive, and impossible to work with. By the end of the day you are going to be begging them to take your money just so the experience will be over with. I hope this review saves someone from booking with this company.

Never use this company- they are crooks. They gave me an estimate and put everything in the truck then said they want 4 times the price and if I didn't pay they would take it back to the warehouse charge for storage and then sell it in in auction after five days!

Upon contracting service with admiral van line they informed me of a fee of $85 per hour for 3 men and the truck with a 4 hour minimum. I am moving 2.8 miles away out of a two bedroom apartment. Once they arrive they tell me is $90 per hour for 3 men and the truck , with a 4 hour minimum plus one additional hour for transportation. I sign a contract that states the same information and nothing else . He tells me he will be boxing some loose items and wrapping others . Once they half about 75% of my furniture packed he has me a piece of paper telling about the additional charge , I'm confused and asked him what is that ?! He tell me that is the extra charge for wrapping and boxing. At this point I am confused since it was not mentioned prior to beginning and also feeling trapped since they have already loaded 85% of my stuff . I was quoted for $415 but ended up paying also $945 , an excessive amount and all of hidden fees . Upon reaching the new place , they wanted money upfront and payment for a total of $1000 which is 8hrs and wanted tips of $70 for each . They unloaded everything in 1.5 hr , stealing another 1.5 hr of my PAID TIME . Its not correct to not inform the clients of all fees associated and then just expect them to pay any ridiculous amount at the end. Once I am unpacking I realized my Gucci Bloom perfume set and tom ford woman perfume , both were Christmas gift so I still had not used them were taken , A value of almost $450 They sent me a $50 check like if that is going to cover or really compensate me in anything . NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER CONTACT THIS COMPANY FOR YOUR MOVE .... YOU ARE BETTER OFF DOING THE MOVE YOURSELF OR DO YOUR RESEARCH .... GET TOTAL PRICING IN A CONTRACT BEFORE THEY TOUCH ANYTHING!!!!

spent several days working on an estimate for a pack and move into a local storage unit. I was given a quote of 1489. Regardless of some items being sold in the interim, we kept that quote as a 'high quote' just to be sure. As I was unavailable during the pack, the workers were let in. After items were loaded, I received a call that I owed them over 2200. At that point, I had no choice but to pay on a 'settled' amount as my items were already hostage in their truck. My card was charged WITHOUT authorization for 2000. I have gone through the items that were 'packaged'. In addition to underbidding the quote to seal the deal, lying about the events that occurred to the credit card company when disputed (which I have seen copies of the statement made by the owner that states that the company was "in contact with me the entire time of the pack" and that "I was made aware of any upcharges and agreed prior to the move"....which I have all phone records proving that those calls do not exist.) , i found several of the boxes to be lamps and breakables thrown in with no wrapping, or packaging of any kind. 4 lamps were broken (before even moved onto my truck) (they did not even bother to remove the light bulbs ! Upon unpacking, I come to find several pieces of gold jewelery missing consisting of 14k necklaces with gold charms, 14k bracelet and several 14k earrings. Interestingly, the costume jewelery in the same drawer were all accounted for and packed in a shoe box.. I have filed a complaint with the BBB, in addition to the Federal Trade Commission. I have also submitted this information about this company to every moving company rating site that I have been able to find. Interestingly, I have found several complaints and lawsuits against this company for the exact same practices. Please know that I will make it my priority to do or contact who ever I need to in order for your company to be investigated, fined, and/or shut down for shoddy business practices.
