Amedisys Home Health Care

Thank goodness for Amedisys Home Health nurses. My elderly mother has multiple health issues has regularly been seen by two nurses who have been absolutely wonderful, knowledgeable, kind and caring. They treat her with respect and dignity and go the extra mile when caring for her. They reach out often to doctors on her team to be sure they are made aware of her health issues. They know her baselines and are able to let doctors know when there is a change and give details on her condition.They are able to draw blood for her, here at home instead of having to go into the hospital (which has treated her so poorly in the past)to avoid any unnecessary stress to her physically and/or mentally and helps to avoid exposure to germs. I can't say enough about Amedisys Home Health and their nurses. We would be lost without them. We are able to avoid the ER when possible because of them and that is huge given how often terrible the care is there, speaking from experience. Thank you for all that you do!

I had the absolute greatest experience with my team that was assigned to me each and everyone of them were very understanding caring listened to everything that I said even when I babbled ...they were just amazing to work with I had a very quick recovery from a brain surgery in a matter of a week and walking talking and living almost a completely normal life just waiting for some more healing...they made it so much easier for me !!!what a great team I couldn't say enough about them it was truly an amazing experience God forbid this ever happens to me again but I will absolutely request them for any future needs or any relatives,, you are in good hands with Amedisys!!!!

The Amedisys Hospice team in bedford is amazing. They pay attention to every detail for everyone, not just the patient. They can provide as little or as much care as you want or need.

The care they provided over 4 months was ineffective. Their personnel varied widely in their degree of organization & bedside manner. Catholic Medical Hospital Wound Care Center is finally fixing the issues with my legs.

My family has lost 2 people to cancer this year. The Amedisys team has been wonderful throughout our loss and after. We especially appreciate pastor Dean who's kind words, and support for us is exactly what we needed during this time. Thank you so much for all that you do.
