We had an awesome week traveling around the Southwest in RMCV's Winnebago Solis. Pickup was easy, fast, and near the airport. The training video was very helpful and Steve was easy to get in contact with when I had comments or questions. Would (and will!) definitely rent from them again.

Boyd and Steve were great to work with on our first campervan rental. We had a family of 5 (2 adults and 3 kids). We rented the 2017 Dodge Promaster (aka disco) and it had everything we needed (sheets, towels, chairs, linens, pillows, curtains, dishes/silverware, fans, coolers). We went in August 2023 from Denver to Seattle and the vans fans kept things cool for us during the day and not too cool at night. We used propane grill and it was easy to cook a meal and plenty of storage for our bags and 15 days of groceries.
This setup was perfect for us as we could fly in and pickup and could pack light without worrying about bringing extra things for the campervan. We would definitely consider renting from Rocky Mountain Campervans in the future!

We rented a Winnebago Solis from RMCV for a family trip to The Grand Canyon and Zion. Pre rental communications with Steve were through and detailed. He took the time to answer my questions and address any concerns. As the rental date approached the communications became more frequent but all details were included and the pickup process throughly detailed. The video walkthrough of how to operate the van was indispensable.
When we landed in Vegas the pickup process was seamless and we were very fortunate to meet Boyd in person. He was so helpful explaining everything about the can and offering tons of tips for things to see and do along our route.
The van itself was stocked with everything we could need and performed flawlessly. It drives very easily and despite its size is easy to park and maneuver.
I highly recommend RMCV if you are looking to do a camper can trip out of Denver or Las Vegas.

My partner and I rented through this company for a long weekend ~a year ago and I just wanted to express our frustration with the van pickup process in Las Vegas as well as the state of the van as our trip continued. We were disappointed to find that the van was missing many necessities when we arrived, and due to the delay in getting some of those things we left several hours late and had to cancel permitted hiking plans. We were mostly frustrated that the van was not stocked as advertised for our trip. Here are some of the things that advertised while booking that were missing:
- Utensils, cookingware, Knives
- French press (we were given a pour over after initially reaching out but had to buy filters to use it)
- Chlorox wipes
- Cards/frisbee
- No Propane for stove & the stove was covered in grease
- Both goalzero battery and fridge were entirely unplugged and required problem solving to address - the goalzero solar battery also didnt hold a charge during the duration of our trip.
- Right mirror fell off while driving!
- Provided gas heater, when safer non carbon monoxide producing electric heaters could be plugged into goal zero (had the goalzero worked)
Thankfully we were able to get some of the items dropped by a Staff member before leaving town, but did have to buy the vast majority of the other supplies. While the van functioned adequately in a pure transportation sense, with the exception of losing a side mirror, the experience w/ the van was subpar. Considering the significant cost it may have been more cost effective to rent a standard car and just tent camp. Unfortunately I will not be using this company again.
