I stayed at Elara this past weekend as part of a marketing deal for three nights. My service dog accompanied me, and was treated very kindly by all the staff. This moved me, as I am a retired veteran, and it is important that my dog is treated well wherever we go. He helps me manage PTSD symptoms. I only reveal this personal nugget of information to confirm that the hotel itself is very safe and VERY accepting and inclusive of people with disabilities, whether visible or invisible to the eye. As a woman traveling solo, it's important to feel safe and protected. There were security personnel and noticeable security cameras in place, as well as staff available pretty much everywhere. From check-in, to the text messaging service, to the pool staff, security by the elevators (always so kind) and valet guys, I felt very safe and cared for. I wanted to acknowledge this aspect as most people focus on amenities and location. Although those details were top notch, for me safety and peace of mind are key. I felt seen and understood. The act of unspoken kindness may seem basic to some as far as hotel services go, but it is EXTREMELY important to me!!! Pros: Excellent location, adjacent to Miracle Mile Mall, restaurants and the strip. Well protected, with security present at all times. Need key to access elevators with security monitoring elevators 24/7. Valet and bell hop were fast and friendly. I had a minor issue with my bathroom sink. I called down and the engineers came to my room quickly and fixed the problem. My view was beautiful. Bed, pillows and room were cool and comfortable, with my overall stay being quiet (despite the popular location). I rarely heard other guests on my floor which was really nice! The room was also very clean, and I am very picky about cleanliness. (Awesome job to the cleaning staff!!!) The location is very walkable, and I did not drive my vehicle for 3 days. Cons: No smart TV, but you can check out DVDs for free. Cable is available on TV's. There is no "dinner" table in the studio, but I used my desk to eat. There is no bottled water in the room, but there is a Starbucks and market downstairs in the lobby. The market is overpriced IMO, but there is an ABC store inside the mall, which was an awesome surprise for me. Overall, I am so happy with my stay. Like I mentioned, all of the amenities were spectacular but my #1 priority is safety and the hotel exceeded my expectations. Thank you Elara and staff for an amazing stay! Safety: #1 amenity of this hotel. I was so impressed with the level of security and privacy for guests. Walkability: Excellent location, you do not really need a vehicle. Noteworthy details: Extremely safe and welcoming to people with disabilities, both visible and invisible.

Great location, great room, no upgrades for Diamond members but staff was friendly and reliable. Only negative is that the hotel has no kitchen, so no breakfast, no room service.
