image Well my fiancee put in an application I put in one because I was AN OCCUPANT.
They say they denied the application because of MY CREDIT. I said I don't understand I'm not the head of income. My fiancee said ask them if we can pay 1 year in advance I called and said maybe 6 months in advance (19k) they call back and say no problem.
Heres the problem, they would not do a lease longer than a year. This is a 3k square ft property to furnish. (Im not going to be ok with moving in a year or having the rent sky rocketed to force us out.
So I said ok 3 months in advance rent or 5k deposit. He said either 19 thousand or no deal.
Why i would pay 19k but will not do lease longer than a year? I don't use the would discrimination losely but I just can't understand why they thought dropping 19k on only a 1 year lease because of credit when I was an occupant??? my spouse 20 years plus at his job (air craft mechanic, also served in the airforce 20 years and SERGEANT, ALSO 6 FIGURES A YEAR with 3+ incomes PER MONTH.
If there looking for specific types of whatever maybe you should find better wording in saying that before talking application fee threw your personal vemo. No good realtor would even be ok with accepting 19k in advance on only a 1 year lease he wouldn't even consider talking to the owner because of the OCCUPANTS CREDIT.

By the way I think I owed a medical place like 3k but my credit statement from the last year ONE TIME

and my income out side my fiancee is abut 6k monthly. Worse case scenario higher deposit but 19k or nothing ok seems personal

It is company policy that every intended occupant over the age of 18 apply as the collective monthly income and credit history is taken into account during the application process. Due to not meeting the office credit requirements, the prepaid rent option was offered (initially by the applicant) to offset the owner's risk of accepting an applicant with an adverse credit history with multiple collections on file.The nonrefundable application fee was paid through a business operating account linked through Zelle. We actually don't have a Venmo electronic payment option available at all and the applicant was notified they have the option of paying with certified funds instead; cashier's check or money order.

image Be careful with this people they are just scammers. I lived in the apt for 3 years and never miss payment, even in corona time, but they found to charge me for small things at the end when I left apartment.
Very disappointed.

Hello,As required by the terms of your executed lease agreement, the property was not professionally cleaned properly after your move out with receipts provided.Please refer to your lease agreement regarding security deposits:"In the event of damage to the premises caused by Tenant or Tenant's family, agents, or visitors, Landlord may use funds from the deposit to repair, but is not limited to this fund and Tenant remains liable for any remaining costs. (In addition to the above, to be refundable, property must be professionally cleaned to include carpets and all hard surface flooring including tile and grout.) Upon request by Landlord, Tenant must furnish receipts for professional cleaning services."You can also refer to the security deposit transmittal form with the attached invoices.
