I highly recommend Nevada Leak Detection! Matt was responsive, efficient and thorough. He found and fixed leaks in both my pool waterfall, my pool and my spa. Matt happened to be at my house when I was having issues with my water heater. After hiring 3 other plumbers and purchasing 2 new water heaters, Matt diagnosed the problem with my water heater and it wasn't even the reason I had hired him! He is a problem solver and definitely thinks outside the box when there is an issue, which is rare in this line of work. I would highly recommend Nevada Leak Detection for all of your plumbing/leak concerns. Thank you Matt! Services: Water heater repair, Plumbing leak detection, Pool plumbing repair

I called and Matt came out and went over a possible pool leak. He gave me a quote which I accepted. He scheduled himself to come out a week later to start. He never showed up and did not call. I called him after a couple of days and asked if he was still going to do the job, he said he had gotten busy and rescheduled. I ended up draining the pool myself, and I explained I would still pay the quoted price. He then sent a text the morning he was suppose to start and said I would have to get someone else. No notice, after two weeks of waiting he cancels. Very unprofessional!! Service: Pool plumbing repair

After seeing unusually high water bills at my house for 3 months during winter (usage as high as my bills in the heat of summer) I looked for all the usual suspects for leaks (pool, sprinkler heads, toilets, faucets) and couldn't find any obvious problems. I came to the conclusion that I had a leak in the main water line from the meter to my house. Matt came out and within minutes diagnosed that my problem was with one of my irrigation control boxes. Sure enough the control box in the backyard was flooded and was the cause of my water leak. That honest assessment of the problem turned what I thought would require a major repair into a simple trip to Home Depot to fix. Matt was honest and if I have any other problems in the future that requires his expertise I will be sure to call him first. Services: Plumbing leak detection, Outdoor plumbing system repair

Three - No call No shows. The two times they showed up they were over 2 1/2 hrs. late. After losing about 30,000 gallons the manager told me there was no leak and demanded payment. After they were paid my follow ups regarding finishing the job was met with a threat. Never have I experienced this level of unprofessionalism. A definite candidate for the Contractors Board. I knew I had a leak as my water bill has been increasing significantly every month for the past 6 months. I replaced all my irrigation, but that didn't affect it. In fact, the leak was getting worse. After getting my highest water bill ever, I called the City of Henderson and they confirmed the increase was likely due to a leak. I called Matthew at Nevada Leak Detection. He did an incredible job! He gave me the most affordable bid I got, although he was very upfront that it could change, as a lot would depend on what he found when he started digging. (THAT is a scary thought!) Ultimately, this leak repair could have ended up being MUCH more expensive. Most of the other bids I'd received were thousands more, and most came with quite the "dog & pony show" - when I just wanted to know where the leak was and what it would take to fix it. I hoped I wasn't shooting myself in the foot by going with the most conservative bid just because I wanted to save money. But Matthew clearly wasn't out to take advantage, as time proved. He knows how these other plumbing companies operate and he sets himself apart with his knowledge of plumbing. He appreciated my concerns. I felt he cared about finding the best, most affordable solution for me. After replacing the valve near my house, it was evident the leak was not in the water main (which everyone else had said they would dig up - JUST FOR STARTERS!) The bad news was this meant it was between the front yard and my garage, where my PRV (Pressure Regulator Valve) was. This could have been a nightmare. Instead of searching for the pipes, Matthew remembered I'd told him my neighbors with the same floor plan had a similar experience two years ago - and asked if he could see what they did to determine where the main water came in, instead of cutting apart my garage to find the root access that was buried in the wall somewhere. CRITICAL THINKING... How rare! Sure enough, that helped a ton. Matthew ran the new line under my front walkway and up into the garage with a TINY hole in the drywall and stucco. He insulated the exposed pipes as well as everything he'd put in the ground. Can you believe the builder didn't even give me a shut off valve at the PRV when they built this house 26 years ago? I have one now! This is thanks again to Matthew, who found the very best way to accomplish this. (BTW, several other plumbers had said it couldn't be done without replacing the PRV along with half the plumbing in the wall!) Do I need to go on? :-) I'm thrilled. I have a corroded Manabloc plumbing system with polybutylene pipes which are not covered by ANY insurance plan, and guess who I'm going to call to replace it as soon as possible? Yes - Matthew at Nevada Leak Detection. If you have a leak, don't screw around with it. Just call Nevada Leak Detection and you'll KNOW you're getting the best deal and the best, most affordable service. You can call around if you want and get other estimates, but you'll be wasting your time. Service: Plumbing leak detection
