We strive to have everyone who presents to our office to have a superior experience and excellent cosmetic outcome. Dr. Robert Troell is Board Certified in Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery, completing a residency and fellowship at prestigious Stanford University Medical Center and continuing as a Clinical Professor for six years.However, he is also a diplomate at five other medical and surgical boards to include:American Board of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, the American Board of Facial Cosmetic Surgery, and related to body cosmetic surgical procedures- the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery, where he received the highest score on the oral examination in 2011 and was asked to be a board oral examiner that he has done since 2013. He was re-certified by the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery in 2021.Dr. Troell also scored the highest score on the oral examination of the facial plastic surgery section of the Otolaryngology board examination (100% score), and on the board examination from the American Board of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery.He is also one of two experienced surgeons who teach all the implants for the face and body in a hands-on cadaver laboratory for Implantech Associates. He has done this since 2015 with internationally renowned surgeon Dr. Barry Eppley, MD, DMD at the Masters Educational Series. This is the only regular face and body implant hands-on course in the world.Some patients present with problems from other surgeons/physicians or conditions that cannot be rectified, have limited options for treatment, or have a high complication rate. Other patients present with more typical aesthetic issues with low complication rates, more rapid recovery and a higher incidence of a successful outcome. Dr. Troell even treats those who have been operated in other countries with unknown surgeon training and experience, with unknown surgical technique due to his empathetic, compassionate, and giving character. Our goal is to have ever client happy and satisfied with their aesthetic outcome. To provide improved skin texture and improve wrinkles it is recognized by ALL dermatologists, facial plastic, and plastic/cosmetic surgeons that the CO2 (Carbon dioxide) laser is the best device for skin resurfacing. Our results have a 97% patient satisfaction rate. Scientific studies, one by Dr Troell and one by Jill Wabel, MD (Miami based dermatologist) in the Journal of Drugs in Dermatology 2009 showed that the CO2 laser was the best and the one producing superior results was manufactured by DEKA. The DEKA Tetra is the one used by Dr Troell and he was the second physician in the United States to acquire this outstanding laser technology years ago. Also, to produce the best result, immediately after the procedure we applied PRP (platelet rich plasma) in the past and after completing another scientific clinical study, apply topical exosome growth factor boost. Topical skin care also improved the speed of healing, the end aesthetic rejuvenated result, and lowers the risk of hyperpigmentation, either by applying Alastin skin care regime or now, Elevai. It is a better product containing the same proteins of Alastin but with four different Vitamin C preparations, hyaluronic moisturizer (best humectant substance on earth), mRNA and 1050 growth factors.Dr Troell has presented at the national American Academy of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery meeting presenting both Adjuvant Skin Care for Energy Based Skin Resurfacing (Laser and Microneedling RF- Radiofrequency) and on his technique and results of the DEKA CO2 laser.We strive to make every patient happy using superior technology, governed by clinical study either in the literature or performed by Dr Troell, with detailed and frequent followup. Using the DEKA laser, 97% of patients were happy with their result.90% required ONE treatment session, 7% needed two and those with deep wrinkles or acne scarring needed three treatment sessions to attain a satisfactory outcome.Not everyone is happy with their outcome as she was part of the 3% that were not satisfied. When those have more severe skin damage due to the aging process, effects of smoking or sun exposure, or effected by acne scarring, additional treatments may be indicated.
