We went to Brooke 6 years ago to create a will and protect our assets from probate. (90% of our assets are in a retirement trust, which we told her. She did not cover those. If we had died together ( we spend most of our time together) in the last 6 years, our heirs would have had to go through probate. We paid her for essentially nothing.

Be very careful to avoid being misled! The information they provide you, eg., for estate planning etc., may not be in your interests. Don't expect this law group to fulfil their fiduciary duty. They won't. It will make me most happy if I am the only one that was misled while using their service. But very often, people don't know they are misled when they are misled. I was lucky to find out early, get out quickly, and be able to minimize the damage, thanks to my repeated questioning and comparing their answers with other sources of information: my own online research, my consultation with friends and other legal workers. I only hope others will not have to pay to get lessons learned as I did.
