I was referred to Stefanie by our professional networking group, she was nice enough to answer to an email on Sunday, and we chatted on Monday morning. I explained my situation to her and that it was extremely time sensitive. I offered to pay the retainer right away. I emailed the documents she requested and she agreed to look at them and contact me back by the end of the day to tell me if she thought she could help me. Its been 2 days and I still havent heard from her after several calls to her office and several emails. Its very disappointing to see the little care and sympathy she had towards me. She could have just emailed back and said she couldnt take my case, and that was that. She understood how sensitive the matter was and she just ignored me. She didnt have to take my case but she should have told me so. Bad business.

It's difficult enough creating your own personal will and power of attorney, but assisting one's elderly parents can be even more of a challenge. I don't reside in Nevada but I was working with my parents to update their 1990 California created trust. ( I thought it was best to make sure everything was copacetic since they are approaching 90 ). Reviewing the trust and documents also opened up a channel of communication so that wishes could be confirmed. Stefanie was incredible. I've worked with many attorney's where I live, but I have to admit that she is one of the best I've had the pleasure of working with. She conferenced me in during the in person meetings per my parent's request. She also answered any of my questions within 12 hours. She reviewed their 30+ year old Trust and updated it as necessary. She also took the time to review and make sure that other documents were correct including the Financial Power of Attorney . She explained each section of the documents so they would understand the legal verbiage and was extremely patient with them. She was very respectful of them even though their knowledge in this area is very limited. I very much appreciate her work in helping us validate the integrity and completeness of their estate and near end of life documents. This is a process that probably everyone with elderly parents should perform. My philosophy is better make sure the ducks are in a row before you actually need them. Her rates are very reasonable and in my mind a great investment for the future.

Stefanie took the time to explain what our options were and how the trust works. I feel very confident in her ability to guide us through such a touchy subject. She has a family so I know she looks out for us as her own. Thank you Stefanie for that, we will continue our business with you and recommend others to do so.
