We recently met with James Owens, Esq, at The Marshall Law Office, to update our out of state wills and trust. If you are looking for an estate attorney in Las Vegas, look no further! Mr. Owens is easy to get an appointment with, treats you with respect and is extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of estate planning. His fees are also extremely reasonable. Working with him was effortless and we had complete confidence in him updating our estate planning documents. He even filed our homestead paperwork, a task we had put off, but needed done. He was so easy to work with and has a very calming presence and keep things light, yet professional. We are so pleased at the ease of revising and adding some documents to our estate planning records and that he provided both hard copies as well as soft copies for us. James Owens, ESQ, was the attorney at the Marshall Law Office that worked with us on establishing our family Trust documents. 100%, professional, friendly, made things easy to understand, and was extremely thorough in the review. It was much more simple than my wife and I had imagined, even though Im sure, the simplicity was brought on by the experience of James! My sister and I interviewed four estate planning attorneys, with one of them being James Owens. After the interviews it was a unanimous decision that James was the person we wanted to work with. He was much more friendly and personal than the others and his prices were significantly lower. We felt extremely comfortable with him. With the others it seemed like it would be strictly business and you would be nickeled and dimed for everything. After we hired James, he created a trust and an LLC for our mother. He did not disappoint us. We felt like we were dealing with a friend who genuinely wanted to help. My mother also loved working with him. I've talked about doing a trust/will for two years. I talked to family and friends, and only one person I know has done this professionally, but couldn't remember details, so I decided to let my spirit lead me. I did a google search, and came across The Marshall Law office on Eastern... (not to be confused with Marshall law on 8th St.) Anyway, Sam Marshall has videos on his website explaining about wills, trust, probate, and after getting a better understanding, I decided to schedule an appointment. My appointment was with James Owens, and after we spoke, I knew that he was the one. He is patient, thorough, and his humor made me relax through this serious process. Also, I think the price is very reasonable, so if you're on the fence like I was...Take a leap!
