Sunrise Children's Hospital Pediatric Emergency Room

I was very impressed with the professionalism of the doctors and nurses at this emergency room. We didnt have to wait for hours, the doctors were very knowledgeable and friendly. I wish emergency rooms visits were always as quick and productive.

We took her daughter about 2 weeks ago. ER is very busy but they took care of her. I understand the RSV case in NV is so high. We spent 2 days in the ER, because PICU is full, we have a small room there. She was release after 4 days. Staff are amazing, great facility. Bad timing to get hospitalized because most of the hospitals in NV is full capacity. At the end of the day, they took care of us and my baby fully recovered now. Thank you Sunrise!

THE WORST KIDS EMERGENCY IN LAS VEGAS. I came in at 10:55pm 11/28/2022 because my daughter has burns from hot water on her hand. The nurses that night had no compassion especially the one checking in the patients(skinny tall blonde old lady) I kindly asked her after 4 1/2 hours waiting if they knew how many patients where ahead of my daughter. Her response was they dont keep count. sorry were trying our best yet shes sitting there talking to another employee gossiping about their personal lifes outside work. The only reason I went to ask was because a Hispanic nurse has told my husband that my daughter was behind 8 patients so we should be taken care of soon. Time went by and we noticed other patients that came later getting helped out before us. It really looked like they made certain people wait along time before getting helped. So after bening there for almost 6 hours we decided to leave and my husband goes back to tell the nurses that had some yellow shirt on and some checkered color vans that were leaving and she says its fine its not like were making you stay any ways. Kinda messed up to have theses kind of entitled nurses working with worried parents and sick an injured babies/children . I just wanted help for my 7 month old baby and not one nurse in there cared or doctor about my baby. They rather see your children dying before helping them .

Thank you sunrise hospital and staff for your professional kindness and compassion during my daughter's bout of pneumonia I truly believe you have saved her life and I can't be more thankful for all the staff and a team at sunrise hospital thank you from the bottom of our hearts
