Airport Van Rental - Las Vegas

This place is an absolute nightmare and it is almost completely impossible to get a hold of them; multiple times has my mom been placed on hold for 30 minutes or longer. Directions for picking up our rental were delivered to us WHILE on our flight, causing us to worry before take off, and continuing on to arrange other pickup options in fear of being unable to get to our rental; thank God we have family close by, or else we would have been panicking about having no ride to our destination after leaving the airport. It is absolutely unprofessional to leave clientele waiting, wondering, and without direction. Our vehicle has been great (until today) and we've had it for the past week; on a short drive to Whole Foods, my mom was unable to accelerate past the 29 mph mark without the car sounding like it was about to explode and the tachometer hitting the "6" mark. So, we reached out to AVR, and they suggested contacting roadside assistance. Couldn't reach roadside, so we called AVR back, and waited on hold for 50 minutes, which is just incredibly ridiculous. It seems as if none of these employees are understanding of how to be professional and stick to what the website says (i.e., my mom was not informed of the $50 fee to pick our rental up past their closing time, which by the way, WHY does a rental agency close at 4 pm in such a city as Las Vegas? It makes no sense). There is much more that could be shared, but I'm not fond of writing negative reviews for places. That being said, this is the first place I have ever felt so strongly aboutenough to leave a negative review. Save yourself the time and energy, and not to mention money, because they will charge you extra fees that are not clearly listed on the website or booking-like I mentioned, nobody was made aware of the extra fee for picking up after hours. Not even on the booking conformation. This is how they make their money; they rip unsuspecting people off.

1.5 hours to even get to the agent to get a car. Slow process that are not as low a price as you quoted. Do.not do business with these guys in los vegas. You will be late and over budget.

A very interesting experience. A. The place is not with all the other rental companies, you have to walk a bit from the shuttle. B. The inside is run down, so when I walked in my heart sank. But, the front lady was nice, took a while to enter all my details, the renting agreement came in the email, good thing I had data on my phone. Getting the car took more waiting, all together probably took about 30 minutes. The car was clean and in good shape, returning was a breeze. Overall it was a reasonably good experience, 4/5.

Good prices for a week's rental. Would use them again. Clean new suv.

Very easy to find, fast check in and out. We will rent from them again next time we come back!
