Holiday Inn Express & Suites Henderson, an IHG Hotel

Decent enough otherwise, but I was put in a room right next to their kitchen, and was woken up at 4-5 AM by heavy banging from workers preparing breakfast. Did not get a good night's rest at all.

Rooms are very clean 9 out of 10! Beds have been comfortable and pillows too. The A/C blows freezing cold and makes the rooms feel great. Some of the rooms have USB charging stations, some do not. But pro tip. I believe all the rooms have USB chargers on the back of the alarm clocks. The only negatives are, I wish the toilets were a little better flushing. We have stayed here many times and it's something I always notice. Keep up the good work Holiday in! A final note, the front desk girl ( Ashley ) was so kind and helpful. She was the only one working and still took the time to help people, check new people in, and go sweep up broken glass in the parking lot. Awesome service!!

I recently stayed at this hotel for about a week and a half, and I must say, the service was excellent. I was particularly impressed by Markiez at the front desk, who truly embodies the spirit of the company with his exceptional helpfulness and professionalism. He was the highlight of our experience, making my stay even more enjoyable and memorable.

I am a points member with IHG and I reserved 2 suites for our Easter weekend in Henderson. My grown sons had one suite and my husband and I had the other one. I got there before my sons and husband because we all drove our own vehicles. I went to the first suit and it appeared to be clean but had an awful musty, stinky odor. I go to the next door suite it was fine. I had to ask the front desk for some serious air freshener. I usually bring my own cleaning products when I travel but this time I didn't and boy do I regret that. it just made me wonder how clean the rooms really were. The second thing that irritated me was they invited us to have chocolate chip cookies at 7pm. When we go to the lobby, I hear grown men begging the front desk staff for at least 2 cookies. The female staff kept saying no, you only get one! They were issuing out one cookie to each person like we were in a pandemic soup line. I couldn't believe how mean and biligerent the staff was acting over these cookies. They were acting like these were their personal cookies bought and paid with their own personal money. Girlfriend...if you run out of cookies, take your lazy butt back there and make some more. I'm sure the Holiday Inn can afford it. As much as I paid for my membership (which is paid in full) you could buy and bake unlimited cookies for the next 10 years off of my membership funds alone. Holiday Inn needs to talk to their staff about punishing new visitors because old visitors took one too many cookies off the platter. The Holiday Inn in Tampa Bay allowed you to get as much as you wanted and they offered ice cream with it as well. That's how you treat a paying customer!
