The Coffee Class Horizon

Just your average snobby overpriced coffee shop, nothing particularly special. There was no warning that ordering a drink with no ice means that you receive a half-empty cup for the same price. The audacity to bring that out to a customer shamelessly caught me off guard. Not to mention $16 for a small panini sandwich. The total was $24.00 for half a drink and a small sandwich.

First time back to this place in months and not sure why i bothered. Only reason is because i like to support local and its the only place close to me. For one, an americano $7.50? Thats crazy. Let it be good at least. Then i brought my dog in there (registered service animal) but the fact that they even ask, for a local place, is crazy to me. I wish they would've told me that before ordering so i wouldn't have spent a single dime to begin with. I showed them that my dog was a service animal and they were okay with it, but i left willingly.

The coffee here is so tasty! I really enjoyed the pumpkin spice latte in the fall & the dulce de leche latte is amazing as well. The pastries are out of this world. (Especially the pop tarts & also the blackberry & cream strudel.) The employees are friendly & accommodating. They also have a nice patio to sit and get fresh air while enjoying your breakfast. Kid-friendliness: It was a great spot to take my toddler since there is a patio where we ate & he was able to walk around near the table I was at since I took a back corner table.

Im in love with this place. I ordered the bacon avocado toast and smoked bacon and egg salad toast. They were beautifully plated and served with real utensils (kinda rare in 2024). The egg salad toast was topped with mounds of egg salad, colorful juicy tomatoes, pickled onions and crunchy bacon on a thick and fresh slice of toast. The avocado toast was also topped with colorful juicy tomatoes and just covered in large bacon crumbles and the thickest layer of smashed avocados on a thick slice of toast. I havent seen anything this layered and topped outside of my own kitchen. The pricing was great and expected for the quality of the food. I mean youre getting all of these fresh and beautiful ingredients and the portions are larger than any other coffee shop cuisine Ive had. Competitors (and I use that lightly because Im all into this place now) never present food in this way and charge more or the same amount for substandard food trucked in from a distributor. Ill gladly pay these prices for excellent food loaded to the point of spilling over. Im actually full off of 2 slices of avocado toast. The staff are so polite, professional, welcoming and knowledgeable. I saw about 30 people come in while I was in there, so its clearly a favorite among the community. Excellent job and kudos on the menu. Im hoping to invest and become a shareholder (by 18 March 2024). I cant wait to try more items on the menu. Everything looked and sounded amazing as I tried to select my items.

Just moved into the area not too long ago and have been wanting to check out more of our local spots. I can say we are very happy we live so close to this TCC. Even being stuffed into the corner of a strip mall they make the most of their limited footprint. First impression it has limited indoor seating but a nice size outdoor patio (dog friendly). But the inside is very clean and inviting as are the staff who immediately saw us looking wide-eyed at the menu and offered suggestions and answers to questions. After careful deliberation we made our choices of a Smores Latte and Pink Rose with Chicken Wrap and Salmon Toast. These were all great choices (even if the Salmon Toast wasnt very filling). We loved the food and drinks and are even more happy they have a patio area that is dog friendly. We will for sure be back and you should visit too!
