There is a reason there is so many bad reviews of this place. These people are completely incompetent. The worst customer service I've ever experienced, dishonest and rude. Stay away from them!

Rude, incompetent employees and very poor customer service are more than just slogans at U-Haul Carson City. They are instead daily standard operating procedures. Thankfully, the U-Haul at South Lake Tahoe provided me with the trailer that I needed in a polite, professional and efficient manner. It turns out that rude and incompetent employees are not a region wide problem for U-Haul, but instead a uniquely Carson City location issue.

Was hesitant to stop here because of the negative reviews but I'm glad I did. I pulled in and someone came up to me right away and directed me where to park the trailer. He inspected the trailer and closed the reservation, and then disconnected the trailer for me. He was polite, quick, and helpful. I wish I got his name. Overall it was a good experience and I was there for maybe 10 minutes.

This place is a joke. DO NOT GO HERE !
They denied rental at last minute because of an issue with a reference I used. ?????
What in the world !?!?
