The Peregrine Omaha Downtown, Curio Collection by Hilton

Walkability: There are plenty of places to see and eat at within a 5-10 min walk. Noteworthy details: Park across the street, NOT in the sketchy 17th St parking garage behind the hotel. There's no elevator in the 17th Street garage so you're walking 7 flights of stairs through bird poop, trash, and graffiti. It's worth the extra $10 to park safely!

Nice boutique hotel. Staff was pleasant. Valet service was excellent, particularly Aliyah! The housekeeping service, however, was lacking. Coffee was replaced, but cups not replaced. Garbage taken out of the can, but left on the desk. Towels taken, but not always replaced. Bed made sometimes. Whoever did our rooms needs retraining. All of these issues were easily and quickly dealt with by the front desk staff. I suspect the housekeeping issues were related to a single person, rather than a systemic issue, so 4 stars.

This hotel is overall excellent. The staff on the front desk are pleasant and helpful and the standard king room had all the mod cons and was spacious (bathroom could have been cleaner, however.) I also appreciated the added touch of providing us with free drinks for being diamond moments. The reason for only 4 stars is due to Habitat, the restaurant. It has a nice atmosphere and looks lovely but the service is ludicrously slow, especially when not busy. Bartenders seem untrained and are making calls and following recipes on notebooks to figure out drinks. The breakfast is also overpriced with small portions. There was mould on my raspberries and, on showing this to the (very loud) server, she just said shed get me new ones but didnt seem at all shocked. At those food prices that shouldnt be happening and she should have done more to make it right as I was off my food by then. If we hadnt had $30 diamond credit I would habe complained more.

Very nice hotel. The valet parking was excellent. We had Alex, Joel and Gabriel take and park our vehicle. It was so smooth and fast.
