My wife left her hair straightener by mistake. About a $150. We called as soon as we she realized it happened, as we were about 100 miles outside of Omaha. Housekeeping is less than honorable here. They are equipped with sticky fingers. Talked to the hotel front desk and then manager who listened and went to check, did not find the straightener, or so they said they did go and check, acted like they had better things to do and that we were putting them out to have to go and check. Light fixture over the sink in the bathroom has rust on it. Various places in the bathroom showed water damage and was not very clean. The floor was dirty, and the toilet looked like it had not been scrubbed in a while. The carpet in the room was dirty, brand new white socks were a light brown after our stay, and I only wore them in the room. Hands down, this is the worst Holiday Inn Express I have stayed at. I now have a new low to judge my future hotel expectations and experiences. Don't stay here, there are better places to stay in Omaha.

In a nut shell I do not believe this property reflects the standards Holiday Inn has for there properties. This location is dated as far as Holiday Inn Express goes. It is also in need of major upgrades/updates to get to those standards. The furnishings, carpet, walls (everything) was dated, worn, stained or damaged. My guess is if this location doesn't update/upgrade soon it will rebrand into a Days Inn, Comfort Inn or other similar brand. On a good note the pool and pool area was very clean.

The morning of the night we stayed here, wr were called because the hotel over-booked the hotel. I dont understand how this happens. If you have three holes to fill, you the holes with enough dirt for three holes? Unless you are looking for the rain to do your packing. If 21 rooms are available, you fill them with 21 of something, not 23. Maybe write it down or have an entry system that prohibits double-booking or an alarm that says you are room deficient.
When you approach the hotel, you may notice a white mess on the gr ound. The dryer vents are exhausted here. Carts were not available to bring our stuff to the room when we arrived and when we left.
I have attached the picture of the door. It looks like they got some discounted wood or the door didn't fit so an idiot cut it. That edge of the door is open to the outside. Makes the noise 3D and allows someone to slip in a note. The other picture is of three things i found under the frame of the bed when trying to find my phone in the dark. Finally, because of the overbooking, we were in a handicap accessible room.

Clean Rooms, nice staff, excellent breakfast. I wished I'd taken pictures. Dove body products provided in the rooms. Pet friendly. The lady at the front desk gave us some dog treats.
