Payless Car Rental

I am not happy at all. I signed up to be a uber driver which avis has a program with uber and I did everything that was required including a test and became a preferred member etc. My credit card was put on file on hold on the app with no issue , also I rented 5 times in the last year from avis using the same card but a different location but in the same city. When I came to pick up my card she said I am not able to get the rental because it's a debit card. I explained I have numerous occasions but she still said no . Not to mention I had the cost of the rental on the card plus a 250 deposit which is how I have rented before without issue. I don't have a car but was willing to pay high rental costs because I was promised the uber job through renting the car and that second job as a driver would help tremendously not to mention the convince of having a vehicle. Avis just lost out on a solid customer that was going to be paying over 1200 monthly . Not to mention I don't know if I will ever rent from avis again. I certainly know I won't rent from this location for sure!

We had the car for five days it was very nice. Nissan Maruno. We got it with 4000 miles on it so very brand new it drove like a dream.

Overall great experience, the staff was cool and the car was great. It was my first time renting a car and it went pretty smooth!
