Tried to tour this location, when we arrived the door to the complex was wide open and when we tried to close it was broken. Anyone could have entered, used the elevator, stolen the packages on the ground by the main entrance, etc. The appointment we made was rescheduled a day early and we were not told until 2 hours before the new appointment. When we called our first few calls were declined. Finally when they answered, the woman on the phone was very condescending and we ultimately decided that a complex that unsafe and difficult to communicate with is not somewhere we should live.

Elevate living is a poor management company to rent from. Should you desire to rent from them this is what you should know- For some background, in architectural terms, Jones 13 is what you would consider a 4 over 1. That is 4 wooden stories on top of 1 cement ground floor. Sometimes it can be 5 wooden stories with ground parking or street businesses (which is also common in Omaha new builds). Its the cheapest apartment housing construction you can do per square foot right now with most acceptable building codes. And you are not getting your moneys worth. Should you rent with Jones 13 (or Elevate Living at all) you are being extorted. As a previous tenant, I had similar issues as other reviewers: bathroom door never clicked shut, holes in the window screen, broken kitchen sink, air filter issues, etc. that were never fixed even after almost 2 years of renting. Not to mention, because the walls were so thin I could hear my neighbor snoring at night, but that ended up being the least of my worries. Trying to reach maintenance or the leasing office is a dead end. The main maintenance guy would tell me about how he was overworked, understaffed and would get to me tomorrow. He strung me along for two years. The current property manager is Christina Tanner. She is a poor manager who has the unfortunate job of saving face for a predatory leasing company. The staff in the leasing office were consistently rotating out. As well as the maintenance workers. Should you decide to rent with Elevate Living, I would recommend you do a tour yourself, and require a test of all the appliances to make sure they are functioning to your standards. Once you move in you are basically abandoned by the leasing office.

Should really be zero stars. Worst management team I have ever worked with. They do not pick up the phone, and will lie to their residents to cover up their own mistakes (They blew the legal deadline to return my security deposit and lied about it). It takes months for some maintenance requests to be fulfilled (like mold mitigation). The common areas are cleaned maybe once per year (All hallway carpets are stained with pet accidents). All of the equipment in the gym has been broken for a long time with no prospect of being fixed or replaced. The locks on the gates to the associated parking lot has been broken for years (had my tires slashed). Seriously, go elsewhere.

Have lived here for a month and a half and my maintenance requests submitted on move in day have not been fixed. No full water pressure in the shower, bathroom door misaligned and wont shut all the way/lock, damage to cabinets and floors from previous tenants. Probably my least favorite move in experience Ive had in Nebraska.

Edit: on 10/14/22 the complex is out of date with routine fire testing with the state of Nebraska. The building got written up for code violation. The fact that a complex with 100 units can allow that to happen is mind boggling to me. My first few months here were great. The apartment was nice, for a good price, in a fun neighborhood. But for the last 4 months or so the property has gone down hill. Especially after former manager Jody left. There has been a dog barking at all hours to the point where neighbors are contacting animal control instead of property security since nothing is ever done about the dog in question. This dog has been loose on the floor on more than one occasion. Management is distant and unwilling to address concerns regarding this (or really any concern) Look up Jones 13 parent company on elevate living on google and youll see lots of negative reviews. I fear that is where is property is going.
