This place was horrible. If you are looking to rent from here my advice would be to walk away. I rented from here for a year and had many unpleasant experiences during that time. They would shut the buildings water off quite frequently to fix pipes or plumbing issues without any notice at all. Often times the water would be turned off for hours at a time. When this happens you can't cook, use the restroom, or even shower! As someone who works a couple jobs to make a living the time that I am at home is rare. So to have the water shut off randomly is a real inconvenience. We also had a poor experience with their timing on getting things fixed. Our A/C unit broke in the middle of the summer and our apartment was 85 degrees all day and night for a whole week before they got in to fix it. We didn't get much sleep at all that week because of this. We called and emailed them multiple times because of this problem and many other problems we encountered like being locked out of our apartment. They almost never answer and 9 times out of 10 they aren't in the office during the hours that they say they will be there. The last most unpleasant thing that we experienced was being required upon our move out date to pay two more months of rent because we didn't give them a written notice during the time frame that they wanted it. We emailed and called them multiple times to try and figure out everything that they needed at the time of our move out, but of course they didn't answer. They didn't even give the curtesy of a reminder that we would need to provide this written notice. To add to the frustration they had asked us through an email if we were planning on staying and we told them no. I think that they honestly try and screw people over just to get more money out of them. I hope this review is helpful for you.

I have nothing but good things to say about Annex Place. They are under new management and have done many improvements to the properties inside and out. The manager Shayla is awesome to really care and make me feel at home here. I also think our location is good being very close to everything

The worst place you could rent at, they be nice until you give them the first month rent, also you could find way cheaper for a place like this in Omaha.

You can find apartments with the same price that are of better quality. The lady in the leasing office, Jill, was really nice but that’s about one of the only few good things about this place. My PTAC (air conditioning unit) was really noisy and difficult to adjust. I’m guessing they haven’t changed it since the building was established. At a point it just stopped working At other times, my sink would just fill up with waste water because of plumbing issues. It got worse when I used the dish washer. The entrance to the building sometimes feels like a free sauna in summer. They need to make major changes

I am a resident at Annex Apartments, this place sucks! They have really old amenities and worst of all, the leasing office is never having a property manager. The property manager is always floating between different properties of the Lund Company. They say they are available on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays but they don’t show up on these days as well! During summers, when you enter the building, it’s as though you are entering a baked up, pre-heated oven. The lease term also tells that if you break your lease, you will have to give 2 months notice period! Who would pay 2 months notice for breaking a lease, they only know to grab money as much as they can!!! Also not to forget, I paid the rent regularly, one of the months, there’s a new property manager, who encashed my check on 1st of the month and sends in a notice on the 6th of the month telling I might have to vacate the space as I’ve not paid the rent! I would never recommend anyone here! Regards, Deepika
