Dependably prompt maintenance staff combined with courteous and professional office personnel has made my time at Rock Creek enjoyable. My wife and I are looking forward to our next lease renewal

I lived here for the past 5 years. I was very happy with the gals in the leasing office. Maintenance issues big or small were usually addressed within 24 hours. This is one of the few affordable options in this part of town. I've had some noisy neighbors (it is an apartment after all), but the leasing office usually addressed these complaints. The pool is a lot of fun in the summer. The office has done a nice job of doing little holiday get togethers for the families of the complex.

Staff was very friendly, however I had a conversation with one of the leasing agents on Tues January 30th. She said that there was a particular apartment that would be ready on April 8th in the price range that I was looking for. I scheduled an appt to see the apartment for the next day at 3pm. I live on 30th and L so I made the trip out the property in Chalco with my young baby to see the apartment. When I arrived she did not know what apartment I was talking about. I showed her the email and told her I had spoken to someone the day prior. She said "oh that was me". The information she was giving me about the apartment did not match the email. From whether the apartment had a washer and dryer to the price to the move in date. Instead of apologizing for the confusion and offering another solution she just kind of looked at me not knowing what to say. As having worked previously as an assistant property manager at an apartment complex I know that it is always more beneficial to own up to a mistake and apologize rather than trying to cover up the mistake. At least with owning up to it you can earn the trust of prospects. I feel grateful that me getting an apartment there did not work out here because I feel that I cannot trust the staff.
