Windows dont open so hallways smell like your neighbors sweaty onions. Noise travels very easy from one apartment to another. Also, lots of dog droppings around the property. Otherwise very pleasant.

Its good under new management GreenSlate though it was terrible under urban village. Make sure you see the actual unit youre renting or else you may wind up with way fewer windows than you think. All layouts are not the same. Also pro tip, you will share the same apt number as 2-3 other apartments in this building which is all one building but with doorways labeled 1311/1313 etc. So if you dont see your package check the other 3 apartments in the building that share your number. This is due to urban village being out of their element when building a big this big.

Not only did I love my time with Urban (over two years and two properties) but I adored every moment I lived in these flats! I moved in while other portions of the building were under construction and never found that to be a problem. Maintenance was always prompt with minor issues and all of the neighbors were considerate of space and pets. The views from the flats are gorgeous (especially sunrise over the Missouri) and the neighborhood was wonderful for dog walking! Truly bummed to have had to leave the area.

There was instances when maintenance was sent in without a request put in or even a notice given. My apartment had no windows and it was honestly nice until eventually it felt like a dark tomb. I had also put in a last months rent when signing on and they have yet to give that back to me after moving out and not even communicating with me about anything after move out happened. There is no office on the property so you cant actually talk to a person when something is wrong or stop into the office when there is an issue. you have to use their website and put in requests and just hope they get back to you as soon as possible. when leaving, I had to put in a request to leave approximately three times over the span of two weeks before i heard anything back.

I love my apartment and love this place and the staff. However, the other residents are very inconsiderate. Nobody knows how to park. My car has been door-dinged 3 times now. And a "non-smoking" building apparently doesn't include weed to these people because my neighbor is constantly smoking weed and it's all I smell in the hallway when I leave and come home every day. They party constantly and I dont know how many people live there but there is always like 6, 7, 8, or 9 people coming and going. This is exactly what I wanted to avoid. That's why I chose this place because of the no smoking policy. Well smoking weed is still smoking. I can't stand the smell. I realize most people do it nowadays but they should have to follow the rules like everyone else. I am straightedge. I dont want to be around it at all. That being said, the apartments are well worth it and I love my place. And the view is great from my window.
