Morris Tax Service

We were given a recommendation from a real estate agent who only brought boxes of her documents for tax preparation. She told us that no one else was nearly as competent and thorough. We agree and have been going to Morris for years. Thank you, Morris Tax Service!!!!

Update:2024 and they still are racist the new owner got upset because I brought to her attention of how Madeline her worker was being disrespectful and have poor customer service. We both speak English why are you keep asking the same questions over she did this like four times to everything. Its ridiculous they have negative attitudes towards when I first came in there was no greeting and Madeline was giving me dirty looks. The owner wanted me to pay upfront they never do that so I asked is this new are just me? She stated you can go somewhere else if you want to do them yourself lmao . So I stated I wouldn't be here if I did that . I sure will go somewhere else because this establishment is definitely racist!!! All of a sudden it a problem because I stated I didnt like and felt uncomfortable with her customer service. I would never recommend this place ever again!!! Ive been coming here since 2014 fyi way before this new lady got ownership. She couldnt contain herself to even be a decent human shaking , red in the face just disgusting behavior I was so uncomfortable and shocked.

Highly recommend for anybody new to owning a small business or booth renting at a salon! They were super helpful and made sure to educate me and help me with what to do to make next year easier when income tax season comes around!

DO NOT DO YOUR TAXES HERE! Used this company for decades as did the rest of my family. Mrs Morris was wonderful. Took my parents again this year before finding out theres new owners. My parents always get a refund, until this year. They were told they owed over $2,0000. They were devastated. I called and tried speaking to the lady who prepared the taxes because my Mom said she talked over her, acted annoyed and was rude. She was to me as well. We immediately told them not to send the taxes over electronically yet. We went to another tax company right after this one. That company looked at the taxes that Morris tax service had prepared and realized they had not marked one box that they shouldve. That made all the difference. Instead of owing over $2,000 they then got the refund that they get every year. I called Morris tax service back, spoke to the same lady, explained her error, told her my parents wanted a refund for what they had paid for the taxes to be prepared. She wouldnt even listen to my Mom or I. She talked over us continuously and acted as though she knew everything still. I was never able to reach the new owner. Only the two ladies that now do the taxes. My parents arent rich and this money mattered to them. The new owners should not go so fast, act like they know it all and listen to their customers. My parents got a refund for the money they spent on the taxes being prepared but never an apology, which mattered. We will never go here again and unless you enjoy losing money you work hard for I would suggest not going here either. .
