It had been a few years since I went into Slackers, and I remember why after hitting this location up this past weekend. The store was in good shape, well organized, but their prices are through the roof. They were selling a DS Lite for $120, something that routinely sells on ebay for $70-$75, sometimes cheaper too. Everything from music to toys is marked up by at least 20%, if not 40%.
Their prices are extremely unrealistic, and if they end up going out of business it will be because of what looks like unfettered greed. There is absolutely no reason to shop here, unless you like paying for extremally marked up goods.

Slackers is still an okay place to go but I miss the bigger spot they used to have in the mall, used to be so much better. As a young kid I was always so excited to look at the video games
