They have a great selection of lp's, 45's, and cd's. Their trade prices are not the best. First impressions are the important ones they say. On my first visit, I enjoyed looking around, and the staff was friendly. Then , another employee/owner not sure came in, and you could feel the tension. He found a stack of records a customer left by the demo turntable and started throwing a fit and then in front of everyone threw the records against a wall cussing. When we checked out, someone put my trade in the system wrong, and he again threw a fit and all but pushed the employee out of the way so he could fix it his way. Just a bad day I thought but when one records I bought was warped a little too much for me and I returned to exchange it he asked if I was OK with him using a machine on to to flatten it and when I said no I'll just pick something else out he again threw a fit. I'd love to shop there again but am afraid of facing this man's rage if I make the wrong choice about something.

This store and Vintage Vinyl and probably the two biggest record stores in STL and are both heavily shopped. Thus, the prices are slightly higher and the used vinyl selection is thin. That said, they have 2 floors with a HUGE selection of all artists from all genres. Mostly new vinyl (at least on rock/pop). They have some other media as well. The sheer size and selection is worth the trip alone. Friendly staff too.

Like that they got rid of the extremely rude employees that kept you from wanting to go in. The pricing can very.
