The guy at the front desk, Ethan or Evan - apparently he's a manager, is extremely smug. I asked for rebar and he said the smallest they had was . I told him we had bought it there before and maybe we were using different terminology. Could someone please show me where it is and I could point to what I needed. He got on his walkie-talkie and said, in a rather condensing tone, could someone in the warehouse please come show this customer the where the rebar is? The dude who came out (didn't get his name) was super cool. He showed me EXACTLY what I was looking for and said it was " rebar, sometimes also called number 4 rebar. Apparently the stuff Evan was talking about was pencil rod. Anyway, they carry a LOT of nice stuff. The manager is horrible, the workers were great. Also, I'm new to concrete and learning. I've told him this before and it doesn't matter. He was in the wrong and still treated me less than. I'd recommend if you HAVE to use NuWay in Troy, IL they probably have what you need. The folks in their STL location are much nicer though and they have a larger selection. I'll go to Lowes or Home Depot and pay more, just to avoid that one person when possible.
