I went somewhere else for filing 2023 taxes. I am a fully remote worker which Joe knew. This time I get a refund from City of Kansas City and though I have been fully remote since 2020 Joe did not do what was necessary for me to get a refund the previous years. My ex did not work in KCMO so that could not have been the reason. Hugely disappointed since I can't go back to amend with the City of KC. The only discussion around working remotely was that I could not claim deductions for having a home office.

Joe has been doing our taxes for 10 years. Hes fast and responsive and Ive never been audited so that tells me hes doing his job.

I would give a 0 star review if possible. You have a sign out front that says "don't over pay for your taxes", yet when someone comes in to make an appointment, you have a NASTY attitude, and say you're not accepting new clients. You really should get an attitude adjustment with all of that money I'm sure you're over charging your existing clients with. DO NOT RECOMMEND!
