The hotel was disappointing. The room was nice and clean but there were a few things wrong with it. The bed was not comfy at all. We received multiple sheets from the front desk and they all had disgusting stains on them. The air conditioner made a disturbing loud noise every time it kicked on therefore, we could not keep the air on at night. However, the staff were really nice. I will not come back.

Very few times in my life, have I been truly shocked by hotel staff. Miss kim at the front desk has been nothing but a pleasure to work with. This hotel is the model, and Kim is the glue. Issues that would take other staff agonizing minutes to solve, were fixed by Kim before my complaint had finished leaving my mouth. At the end of the day, businesses are only as good as their staff. If that is truly the case, this may just be one of the finest residence inns in the country. I would be honored to stay under this roof on ALL subsequent trips to Kansas City.

Beautiful hotel, our view is fantastic from the 10th floor, perfect location (other than I cant sleep because its so loud below with cars driving by with bass - even on a Wednesday- and the curtains dont pull all the way for complete room darkening so our room is still fairly bright) if it werent for the following I wouldnt have a real complaint, but as I am laying in bed I keep smelling something and I cant figure out what it is. Bingo it clicks. I smell wet dog and dog URIN in our bed and in the bathroom. I cant un-smell this smell. Every which way I roll. If you just smell the sheet they smell clean, but as I lay here its seeping out of the mattress or something. Maybe you should have certain rooms for people with pets? I dont know but that is the last thing I want to smell when Im trying to relax.
I also want to add .. we went on a walk to find a dinner location, we got downstairs and our car was sitting there. We thought this odd and asked the guys what was up with that. He said they needed it ready.. we said well it wasnt us we havent even used our phone (we had just arrived about 30 min prior) the guy just looked angry and got in the car and drove it back to garage. Hope all our camping gear stays secure in there. Made us a bit nervous.
