I stayed here last Monday night while heading back to Idaho from Missouri to catch the solar eclipse. The price wasn't real bad but not cheap either. The hallway leading to my room had an odd smell to it. The room seemed a little run down. While this is an easy motel to get to from I-70 it is a little ways from the downtown Kansas City action

I paid $100 dollars and they said I will get it after a few days. Now I am calling back to fight for my 100 dollars.

The room was dirty, I had the shower with hair and dirt stuck to the dirty tables, everything was poorly cleaned.
The dirtiest hotel I've ever been to, the shower is super filthy, the furniture shows that they haven't cleaned it in months, very bad service.

Probably the most disgusting hotel I've ever been to. First off, everything was dirty and gross, covered in either blood, pee, or mystery spots. There was a weird paint blotch that was hidden by a lamp that didn't work. It smelled horrible, like burnt hair and cigarettes. Front desk lady was very rude and was talking about my booking with other customers. When we got to the room I took pictures and we went down to ask for a refund, which the lady said she'd only be able to refund $150 of my $200 which would arrive in 5-6 days. THIS WAS FOR ONE NIGHT BY THE WAY! They spring a $100 fee on you, which is not disclosed on the website or on any of the booking sites, just on a little paper on the counter. The lady also told me that they're not a "big chain hotel" and so " their rooms wouldn't be perfect." Okay, but having mystery stains on everything, dust and grime on every counter top, and someone else's socks sitting on the shelf is okay for even a family owned place? I will literally never be going there again, rude staff and disgusting accommodations.
Walkability: Very walkable, lots of restaurants and stuff around
