Stoney Creek Hotel Kansas City - Independence

WORST BEDS, PILLOWS, SERVICE. DIDNT SLEEP BUT 3 HOURS! My husband and I are exhausted from tossing and turning all night and now we have a 16 hour drive ahead of us back to Utah. There was a lady at 3 am that was waiting for 45 min for the front desk to come help her check in with her 7 yr old daughter. This poor lady was tired from traveling and has to train 400 people this morning. I just wanted a new pillow but I let the lady get her room key and just stayed up from 2:30. It's going to be one hell of a day. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HORRIBLE PLACE. YOU'RE WELCOME.

Where can I start! I travel with my son from Michigan for spring break our first time out of state. Great location, the stuff is so amazing, honest and caring! All my son kept saying was how beautiful the hotel was.

We are here for spring break from Rochelle Illinois, this place is awesome. From the start of the lobby, the customer service is very awesome. The rooms are huge. The swimming pool is very very nice and busy. There are lot's of restaurants around us. Easy shopping around us. Fun family friendly things for children of all ages. Especially the sleeping arrangements. Rooms: Huge and spacious Nearby activities: Main event Safety: Great Walkability: Trails Food & drinks: Mexican

We stayed here back on Easter and it's a really nice hotel! Plenty of parking, great breakfast, nice area to walk outside around the Bass Pro pond, and the rooms were nice. The breakfast if I remember correctly had muffins, eggs, bacon, potatoes, pancakes, yogurt, bagels, and a few other things. We had a king room and the bed was super comfortable. My only two complaints were that kids were running up and down the hallways late at night, but that isn't on the hotel. The pool was also shut down because a kid had an accident right as I was checking in which is my luck! Outside of those two little issues (Again not the hotels fault) it was a really nice place! I'd stay here again if I were up in the area. There's enough amenities around the area so you don't have to go far if you need anything.
