Good evening. We can't find anyone similar to your name in our system, so you may have accidentally posted this in the wrong profile. If there is a problem with the sewer line, we would be honest about it and offer options for repairs, such as a pipe liner. However, we often find that competitors try to use scare tactics to get customers to spend tens of thousands of dollars on big repairs that aren't actually needed. In fact, we did this for a senior citizen just last week who was told that the water marks in her sewer line were cracks and she would need to spend over $20,000 to fix it. We know people are trying to really watch their budgets these days and we just want to help them use their money wisely when we can. There was no need for her to spend that kind if money when there wasn't really an issue.To your point, though, roots don't necessarily mean the need for immediate and costly excavations. Often, it just means that annual hydro jetting needs to be done.
