This was the first funeral that I was in charge of planning and felt overwhelmed before talking with the staff. They were very helpful, explained everything and informed me of things that needed to be done and when.

The care of our loved one and our family were exceptional. I had already pre arranged my mothers funeral, but there were still a few things to take care of. I called Lakewood the day before she passed to be sure I knew what to do and Eric Hernandez answered the phone. He immediately put me at ease and explained everything to me in a kind and compassionate manner. My mother passed away the next day and after one call, Lakewood took care of everything to include transport of her body from over 150 miles away. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Lakewood from the purchase of the prearranged services with Vernon Muse to finalizing the services with Eric. He has since contacted me to follow up on our family and offer his services if needed. In a time of grief, the staff at Lakewood were there to help our family and I would highly recommend them.

My grandmother passed a few wks ago and I was over her arrangements due to my mom passing 2 years ago. I had never planned a funeral myself and they were very helpful and caring in answering any questions. We also worked with Ryan that said to please call and the other gentleman if we needed anything after. Thank u for everything. Courtney
