Ugh. This place. It was a great bank when it was Bancorpsouth. We've been talking about switching for months since they bought out BancorpSouth, we hesitated because of the hassle of swapping over bills. Should not have waited. This afternoon we tried logging in to our online account and had been locked out. After 45 minutes on the phone with their 888 number they tell us we're locked out of our account because there have been 50 log in attempts today and 100 in the past two days. Obvious fraudulent activity, right? They disagree. We were told they couldn't do anything after hours because the account was locked. They couldn't tell us who was trying to access our account. Since that rep wasn't able to help, we asked to speak to someone in the fraud department- but they only work until 5 pm. So now here we are, locked out of our online account, unsure of who's doing what to our account. Fraudulent activity doesn't rest. Bancorpsouth's fraud department was available after hours. So this is a direct downgrade of services. Definitely take your money somewhere else for safekeeping if you want to have the peace of mind of being able to check on it, or access it for that matter.
