The dr is brusk and shows no sympathy towards the kids when they are hurting. She talks loudly about the patients negative medical conditions. Multiple kids with parents in one room together. So medical anonymity is not a thing. My daughter had to get a tooth extracted and the Dr spoke to her so demeaning. Then she physically held her down while raising her voice at my daughter to pull the tooth while my daughter was screaming in pain. Mind you this is in front of other parents and kids. I should have stopped it immediately But I just was overwhelmed and thought maybe this was normal for tooth extraction until I took her to another dentist and they were shocked. I must say the two assistants that helped were kind. They looked horrified too at the whole situation.

Terrible service and the absolute worst dentist I've ever been to. What kind of place hurts an innocent child? My daughter was scheduled to have a tooth fixed and well the dentist comes in with an attitude. Tells me how it's going to be and what she's going to do to my child's mouth continues to give my child gas and a shot to numb her and then walks away and does nothing. My daughter was sedated her gums were bleeding from them picking around in her mouth and her tooth did not get fixed. Very very disappointed in they're unprofessionalism and malpractice. I would highly encourage anyone to find a dentist elsewhere for the safety and well-being of your child.

Dr. Joey and staff are amazing!! We are currently in Meadville displaced by Hurricane Ida. My 7 year old woke up with a toothache so I googled pediatric dentistry and went off of reviews. They took us in same day and were very sweet and caring. My son had a cavity in which the tooth needed extracting. He was a little nervous but they made sure he was very comfortable and they kept him calm. I live about 3 hours away where our home was damaged by IDA. I would be lying if I didnt already think about making the 3 hour drive for my kids to continue care here. They are that amazing

We have had nothing but great experiences with Dr. Sessums and Ole Brook Pediatric Dentistry. They have an inviting atmosphere for kids, and are great at working with kids from basic cleanings to more involved procedures.
