Highland Park Little League

The playground is located in between 3 fields; in what can only be described as cramp realty. It is convenient to have the younger children in a visible location, but it's frightening when small children are having to run for cover whenever a foul ball was hit. During last years end of season tournament, someone started to play music through rented announcement speakers. The volume was set so high that kids on the opposing team were unable to hear their first base coach. We asked the amateur DJ to please turn it down. His curt reply was to tell the coach to yell louder, before giving me the cold shoulder! He eventually turned the volume down when a child didn't hear 'foul ball' being screamed by the crowd, and was almost struck while on the swing set. I went to complain about the amateur DJ to the opposing coach, to only be advised to drop it - the music man is the President of st. lious little league.
