The CPY New Brighton staff is fantastic! My foster children joined their crew this summer, and it was such a relief to find programming that allowed me to get my own work done, while knowing they were well-cared for and having fun. They were incredibly flexible with the constant last-minute changes to our schedule, and abundantly patient and kind with my kids. They helped them navigate a variety of situations and behaviors, and I am so thankful!

Very unorganized the leaders are very young the leaders also yelling and screaming at children with out talking to them.and the kids did not do crafts or cooking like stated on website . My granddaughter has had good behavior the whole time she was there . CPY does weekly drawings for children with good behavior she has never been picked and 2 other people I asked said there children were not picked. so why would kids keep wanting to be good there . I was there one day and I saw 2 kids being called for a prize 3times . Im very disappointed at lunch more than 1 time the kids were served exspired food Im wondering who is watching over this CPY

The CPY provides a safe environment for the Youth in New Brighton and surrounding cities after school hours and in the summer. CPY has been serving these communities for almost 26 years. It provides a safe place for kids of all backgrounds and economic standing to coke together to learn important life skills to prepare them for the challenges ahead. The CPY provides healthy meals and snack to these kids, helps them to complete their home works, teach social and other life skills and exposes them to other opportunities that would hitherto elude them. Almost 90% of these children are on reduced lunches in their schools and hence can not afford to pay for their attendance. CPY provides equal opportunities for all these Youth so theres a chance that they can break the cycle of generational poverty. Please support CPY in any way you can.
