Carpenters Federal Credit Union

I had carpenters credit union 20 years ago,but I closed the account because of bad customer service. I decided to open another account again thinking they might of changed. But nope everything is the same I applied about 1 week ago still have no response. I am a 27 year union member, very sad to say that we don't have a good reputable credit union that has our backs...

The app sucks, changing your password is a task in itself. However, the tellers have always been friendly.

If I could leave zero stars I would. If you are looking for a financial institution you can trust this isnt it. They are not geared around valuing their customers. My father required additional help when he realized major fraud happening on the account and instead of getting help even after he asked was turned to paperwork he didnt understand. He was nickel and dimed for a statement to show the said fraud. I asked numerous times to speak to a branch manager and was declined. Tellers are very combative and make you feel as you are an inconvenience. Very unprofessional. Would rather deal with Wells Fargo and that is speaking volumes.

Went there to get a debt card but in order to get it they were trying to tell me I needed to give them so one elses social security card number in order to get one.Never had to deal with such craziness. The teller was super rude too! Hate going here. I told the lady I did not want to give my money to anyone if I died, but still demanded me to fill out Someones social!
