I had Timmy do some tree work. Made the mistake of showing him some large beautiful oak trees on the back of my property more accessible from neighbor's land. He lied to neighbor to get access to those trees and cut them down for money in his pocket. Trust him at your own risk. There are many better and honest out there to call. (1)

$331 seems pretty steep for mowing and bagging a 0.75-acre lawn while leaving residual late-fallen apples and sticks along the landscaping. I saw the quote as $75/hr, so I expected about a hundred bucks. In fairness, the fine print was clear that it would be for each person for each hour. They billed for two workers for two hours, plus tax. We called to ask if they could pick up the sticks, too (a 15 minute, one-person job), and they said they would have to start a new bill on that one and send more employees. We declined. In comparison, last year, I paid a teenager about $80 cash for the same job but a little less fancy. I guess I won't be calling Meyer again. Edit: add a star, note: they did indeed do a good job, just had a miscommunication and I thought it was pricey.

Meyer did excellent work on our dry river bed and it turned out better than we expected! They were very responsive, worked with us to ideate and customize a solution, and they offered great suggestions for plants. Only thing to note: the cost did increase due decisions made during installation but was manageable and they only charged for extra materials.
