        If you're tired of being just a number and want to get back to honest banking and proper customer service, Sterling is the bank you're looking for. I fired the national giant who's name rhymes with USBank, about 12 years ago and since, haven't had reason to look back OR elsewhere for that matter!

        I opened a 5 year CD in 2010 and they promised no fees if I held it for the full five years.  Five years later when it matured, they refused to give me the money until I agreed to pay a $60 fee.
