Allina Health Cancer Institute – Piper Breast Center – Plymouth

My doctor with Allina put in a consult for me to be seen here. Its been 2 and a half weeks and they still have not called me to schedule an appointment. I called twice, and my doctors office once, and we were told I could not schedule the appointment myself, and would need to wait for them to contact me. They told us they had my information in the system. I am extremely disappointed that they have taken this long to even reach out to schedule an appointment. They told me that department is short-staffed, which I understand, but people who need to be seen here are dealing with potentially life-threatening conditions. Waiting this long just to schedule an appointment is unacceptable. Ive since gone elsewhere. North Memorial was able to schedule and get me seen the following week. I am very disappointed in the Allina Cancer Institute.

Everyone I encountered, front desk, mammogram tech, ultrasound tech, Radiologist- all were kind, professional and timely. Really zipped along with barely any waiting time. Im very appreciative for the great care. Answered all my questions. Thanks to all.

My experiences with this institution have been uniformly superb, and I mean superb. Absolutely everyone whom I encountered during this very stressful time was warm, welcoming, full of information, not stressed for time as concerned my needs- and this included everyone , from the physicians (Drs. Natasha Rueth, Amy Krie, Patsa Sullivan), to the nursing staff, to the anasthesiology staff, to the people who moved my carrier through the halls. This is true for both the Piper Breast Center at Abbott NW and at Plymouth. This physician heartily says, thank you! to the magnificent staff at all levels at both institutions.

Today I had my first experience at this Plymouth location and would highly recommend to all. Previously, I've had all my exams at the VP Breast center near Abbott/NW. Today I had a terrific, professional experience. I even arrived early and was taken in right away! I must say that the special touch - optional cup of tea in China teacups with saucers was missed!
